The Hikkaduwa National Park is home to 60 species of hard coral, 170 species of tropical reef fish and multiple species of turtles.

The Turtle Conservation Park in Hikkaduwa is an important location in turtle conservation in Sri Lanka. Here, you will see many rare and injured turtles. The conservation park plays an important role in protecting turtles and their eggs. You will find many hatcheries in the park with hundreds of scuttling baby turtles. Remember to handle them with care!
