Discover Two Giant Mammals Within 5 DaysThis tour features two of nature’s most magnificent creatures: the elephant and the blue whale.

You will begin your whale in Mirissa which is home to one of the most successful whale watching tours in the world. You will spend an entire morning exploring the deep blue ocean for signs of the amazing life forms it harbours.

You will then move on to Tangalle where you will get  have a night adventure watching turtles and turtle eggs in the Rekawa beach. 

You will finally move on to Udawalwa which is home to a national park that is world famous for its elephant abundance and an elephant transit home which provides refuge to orphaned baby elephants. 

In addition to exploring amazing wildlife you will also have the opportunity to witness many cultural attractions Sri Lanka has to offer during your stay.

  1. Arrival and welcome by our representative at the airport
  2. Arrive at Mirissa and check in at the hotel 
  3. Relax at the hotel/beach 
  4. Overnight stay the Mirissa hotel

You will be welcomed at the airport by our representative and lead to Mirissa-  the perfect travel destination for those who love a generous dose of sun, sea and sand. This destination provides excellent accommodation, an endless amount of excursions - all on the golden sandy beaches.  You can also watch stilt fishermen visit the rubber and coconut plantations in the area or wonder through the ancient temples and spice gadens. The entire day is yours to explore the beauty of Mirissa.

Day 2

  1. Early morning whale-watching in Mirissa beach following breakfast 
  2. Return to the hotel and relax
  3. Overnight stay at Mirissa hotel

whale-watching in Mirissa On your second day you will indulge in the ultimate experience in Mirissa - whale watching. Nature’s largest creature - the blue whale, and many other awe-inspiring sea creatures can be seen in the waters of Mirissa. Witnessing large colonies of this incredibly rare species and others such as dolphins and sperm whales all in one location is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. After an exciting morning, you can return to your hotel and relax and unwind for the day. 

Day 3

  1. Transfer from Mirissa to Tangalle following breakfast
  2. Check-in at Tangalle hotel
  3. Early dinner followed by visit to Rekawa beach for turtle watching
  4. Overnight stay at Tangalle Hotel

Your third day in Sri Lanka will include a visit to Tangalle where you will check in to your hotel and prepare for an exciting night. The highlight of this day is sure to be the turtle sightings. Five of the 7 species of marine turtles visit a few shores in Sri Lanka - among which Rekawa is the most important. The in-situ conservation that takes place in this shore ensures that you get to see turtles and their eggs in a perfectly natural habitat. Even if you miss the opportunity to see turtles you are sure to have a memorable night adventure at the beautiful beach. 

Udawalawa National ParkDay 4

  1. Transfer from Tangalle to Udawalawa following breakfast
  2. Visit the elephant transit home at 12:00 noon to watch baby elephant feeding
  3. Check in at Udawalawe Hotel/Camping site 
  4. Late afternoon Safari at the park

The next day you will make your way from Tangalle to Udawalawa. Your first stop will be  the elephant transit home in Udawalwa that provides refuge to orphaned elephants. You will be able to witness a large group of elephants who are all under the age of 5  making their way to drink milk and showing truly heartwarming and playful behavior. Following this, you will check in at a hotel/camping site in Udawalawa and prepare for a late afternoon safari at the park.  The Udawalawa National Park which extends across a large area is home to over 600 elephants including tuskers. It is the country’s main destination to see this magnificent creature year round. In addition to elephants you can also witness spotted deer, crocodiles, leopards, slot bears and an array of birds and reptiles at the park. You will retrieve to the hotel after the safari for your final night in Sri lanka.

Day 05

Following a hearwarming breakfast, you will be guided to the airport well before departure.

  • ·60 to 89 Days      - 15% of the tour cost will be charged 
  • ·30 to 59 Days      - 25% of the tour cost will be charged
  • 14 to 29 Days      - 50% of the tour cost will be charged
  • 08 to 13 Days      - 75% of the tour cost will be charged
  • Less than 7 Days   -No refund shall be given
